Daily Living on the Island

Rich Culture
Cyprus is rightly proud of its rich and varied history and culture, and displays this at every opportunity in a multitude of museums, displays and showcases throughout the Island. Each local municipality creates new displays on a regular basis with new exciting additions and there is a year long programme of cultural and entertainment events ranging from performances of classical operas and drama in the open air amphitheatre (just like 2000 years ago), to the more modern additions of International wine and beer festivals, popular music festivals and many organised beach functions.

Family Values
Given the lifestyle differences between Cyprus and many parts of Europe, the wonderful weather and facilities available, Cyprus presents itself as a great place to bring up your family. In Cyprus family values are at the heart of most issues and the Cypriots place their family above all else. The climate is much healthier for growing children, with greatly reduced rates of allergies and environmental factor problems. Extended family support for disabled members provides a fantastic network and social grouping.
